Gold Coast Last Call: Many thanks to Al Wright for this video from October 2017.
Thrilled to see my best and longest musician friend, Richard Nelson, along with his sisters at The Gold Coast Grill this last Friday.
Rick, professor of music at the University of Maine at Augusta, also composes and plays with the Aardvark Jazz Orchestra out of Boston.
Leaving Wednesday for Charlotte, North Carolina to entertain with the Robert Foley Band.
We rehearsed tonight, and we're sounding better than ever!

I am starting to find my way around here. Pages and design will probably fluctuate for a while, while I figure out what I am doing, and the best way to let people know. If I have a page for events, I don't need to present all that information again on the blog, so........
What do I write about? What I have been up to, where I have been playing, what it was like, how to play music, how to listen to music. I will play by ear.

My first blog!
What's new, what's new?
I've just returned from another outing at Hannah Nicole Winery with Sue Lukito.
It didn't rain today after all, so we got to play outside. A lovely sunny day with many people out picnicking, and enjoying their wine. Playing conditions couldn't have been better, EXCEPT for the wind, which kept knocking down Sue's music stand, and blowing my music across the gazebo. The wind died down just about the time we finished up.
I never get tired of the view of Mt. Diablo from the winery.
We will return Sunday, April 14, 12-3PM:
Hannah Nicole Vineyards

Next Friday (and most Fridays), I play piano at the
